Terms, Method of Payment & Transport Policy

How we quote, take payment, produce, pack and ship your handicraft orders from Bangladesh. Every order is confirmed on a proforma invoice, and terms can be agreed to suit your business.

Payment Terms

We offer three payment options. The one that applies to your order is stated on the proforma invoice.

L/C at Sight

For large and repeat orders: an irrevocable Letter of Credit at sight, opened through a first-class bank.

T/T Deposit & Balance

30% advance by telegraphic transfer to start production; the remaining 70% before shipment, against copies of the shipping documents.

100% T/T in Advance

For samples, trial orders and small quantities, the full amount is paid in advance.

Method of Payment

  • Bank transfer (T/T) in US Dollars (USD) to our company bank account in Bangladesh. Account details are printed on the proforma invoice.
  • Letter of Credit (L/C) at sight, opened through your bank.
  • Bank charges outside Bangladesh are paid by the buyer. Please send the bank receipt (SWIFT copy) after each payment.
  • Production starts when the deposit is received and the samples are approved.

Order Confirmation

An order is confirmed when:

  • you send a purchase order, or place an order on this website;
  • we send a proforma invoice with item numbers, quantities, cartons, CBM, prices, packing and delivery terms;
  • you accept the proforma invoice and pay the deposit (or open the L/C).

Changes to quantity, size, colour or packing after confirmation can change the price and the delivery date. We confirm any such change in writing.

Prices & Quotations

  • Prices are quoted in US Dollars, normally FOB Chattogram, Bangladesh. CFR and CIF prices are available on request.
  • Quotations are valid for 30 days. Prices depend on quantity, size, material, finish and packing.
  • Our products are made from natural raw materials, so prices can follow the season and the raw-material market. Confirmed orders keep their agreed price.
  • The minimum order quantity of each item is shown on its product page.

Production & Lead Time

  • Samples: 7–15 days after the design is confirmed.
  • Bulk production: usually 45–60 days after the deposit and sample approval, depending on quantity and season.
  • We share production updates and photos of the finished goods before shipment.

Packing

  • Standard export cartons, each piece protected by a polybag or paper, with silica gel against humidity.
  • Shipping marks, labels, barcodes and hang tags as per your instructions.
  • Carton size, quantity per carton and CBM are shown on each product page and on the proforma invoice.

Transport Policy

We ship worldwide by sea and by air, and help you choose the most economical option for your quantity and delivery date.

By Sea

  • FCL (20′, 40′, 40′ HQ) and LCL shipments from Chattogram Port.
  • Different items can be mixed in one container.
  • Use your own forwarder (FOB), or we arrange the freight (CFR / CIF).

By Air & Courier

  • Air freight from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka, for urgent and small orders.
  • Samples by international courier (DHL, FedEx, UPS or similar).
  • Shipping documents: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading / airway bill and certificate of origin; other certificates on request.

Risk and costs pass to the buyer according to the agreed Incoterms® 2020 rule. Import duties, taxes and customs clearance at destination are paid by the buyer, as are costs caused by wrong or incomplete delivery details (re-delivery, storage, demurrage).

Inspection & Claims

  • Pre-shipment inspection by you or a third-party inspection company is welcome.
  • Claims about quality or quantity must be made in writing within 30 days of the goods arriving, with photos and the carton marks.
  • Handmade natural-fibre products vary slightly in colour, size (about ±1–2 cm) and texture. This is part of their character and is not a defect.

These are our standard terms. For each order, the proforma invoice is the final agreement: anything agreed there takes priority over this page.
